Welcome to Baja Mexico
Colorful and rugged, Baja Mexico is an artist's dream, surrounded by unexplored nature and endless ocean.
In summers 21 and 22 I was fortunate enough to have a dedicated studio space and time to focus many months on a series of works that I chose to be flowers of Baja Mexico. This series started with using photographs as a starting point but quickly turned into using my own imagination to start abstracting and breaking apart these familiar shapes and movements into much more complicated abstract structures.
Studio art inspiered by nature.

Pleinair work
Consistent weather and hardly any clouds create ideal pleinair painting environments to capture the unique shapes and colors Baja has to offer.
