Washington Pleinair
This collection of work represents a snapshot of my experience with plein air painting in Washington and Oregon over the past five years. By working in the plein air style, I have been able to develop a focused and coherent artistic style that has continued to evolve and grow over time. By switching to larger 2x4 foot canvases, I was able to further solidify my attention to detail and take the time to carefully consider the compositions I was creating. Working in this way has allowed me to fully immerse myself in the natural surroundings and capture the beauty of the landscape in a way that is both authentic and expressive.
