Located along the iconic Chuckanut Drive (Highway 11), this study captures the rugged transition between the Larrabee State Park forest and the Salish Sea. The work highlights the unique sandstone textures and dense evergreen canopy found along this steep coastal corridor connecting Skagit County to Bellingham.

Created on-site over six nights at Clear Water Creek near Baker Lake Road. This piece was painted while living out of my van on DNR land during the winter, adding a visceral hardness to the process and the final work.
