Art Lessons.
A big part of any artist life is education. I’ve worked with the absolute worst teachers who are 100% failed artist falling back on their degree to remain connected to something they can’t do, letting their bitterness and short sighted vision stifle and halt others. At the same time I’ve meet the best teachers, not only those who will go out of their way to help, but have become lifelong friends providing job, apartment opportunities and more.
Classes are divided between single and group. Classes can be studio or pleinair In a variety of media.
Pleinair classes price will vary based on location primarily. All classes change if your provide all your own tools and supplies although it’s recommended to use the same brand of paint during a class.
Wet media.
Acrylic
Oil paint
Mixed media
Dry media.
Pencils
Pastels
One on one, private classes.
I’ve had the pleasure of teaching both pleinair and studio classes privately both in washington and abroad. This is my preferred setting, allowing me to over explain and get into detailed technical language and understanding. Those wishing to grow the quickest will get the most out of this setting.
Hourly rate for one on one class is $50.00 an hour and covers materials. A recommended 3-4 hour session minimum is encouraged to get the most out of the experince.
Group Class
I’ve give a range of group classes, to children and adults, up to 12 people at one time. Group classes are great for cheaper rates individually the more students there are. Group classes are also a fun way to just spend time with friends, I can cater subject and classes to be more fun, vs technical.
Pleinair classes are possible, but are up to 3 people at once. Class costs change between studio and pleinair depending on scale of art and location.
Group classes and pricing depends on a variety of factors, but the more people involved, the less per person cost there is.
