Painted in the technique of Pleinair, this piece was created completely on location over the course of one or many days.

Painted at Crat Island, we get to witess the highlights of the water joining another island as the tide reclaimed land at the end of the day. By using a sun tracking app, we possitioned ourself knowing exactly how the area would behave. Craft Island is a favoite spot of mine, and over the years I learned the patterns and lighting that would occure, allowing me to play around more and be less intnet on the ever changing enviornment.

This piece is already framed in a small sptrip frame shadow box style, where the frame has a small gap between the painting and frame edge. The frame needs a small amount of color correction but is ready to be hung on your wall.
