Painted in the technique of Pleinair, this piece was created completely on location over the course of one or many days.

Painted at craft island durring winter, we are looking East with Craft Island close up to us on our right and the ocean to our backs. I had done a much larger painting here that was of a different format, sometimes its fun to paint the same area to see how the piece will change. The tide is coming in and can flood the entire 1.5 mile walk back to the car so you have to be careful…
