Lake 16

$200.00

Painted on mdf

Gamblin Oil Paints with a Galkyd medium.

8 x 12 inch

Painting is framed

Painted in the technique of Pleinair, this piece was created completely on location over the course of one or many days.

Painted in the depths of the woods in the hills of the skagit valley, this area is truely special. You will find lunsh forests, streams, ponds, waterfalls in spots youd never guess. The sun is entierly difficult to gauge in these enviornments, the darkness of the woods combined with the spots of light and warmth is truely magical. Knowing that this entire time cougers and blackbear could be nearbly gives a sense of urgency, especially as you walk miles through the woods to your car.

Back of this piece is another painting, idk what or where, its a beach ya but I dont remember this one which is rare.

Also, the frame is a small thin strip of wood, that hasent been colored or treated, it would look nice as a dark brown or possibly leave it, it kinda looks nice idk.
