This stunning piece of art captures the essence of the outdoors through the technique of plein air painting, created on location in the Olympic Peninsula during a two-week painting expedition, where I lived out of my car to truly immerse myself in the natural surroundings.Specifically, this masterpiece was born at Sadie Creek near the town of Port Angles.

After exploring numerous Mountain locations, I was drawn to this particular spot. The three prominent trees were of strong interest as was the many plants and fall colors creating delightful textures.

For this print, I crafted the image using three close-up shots, which were then photo merged and edited in Photoshop to ensure a high level of detail and accurate representation of the original artwork.
